I live in Atlanta, Georgia and work in Marietta, Georgia as a veterinary technician. I love what I do. I’ve worked in several different capacities in the pet industry, but this is the one I enjoy the most.

I was born on November 8, 1952, so I’m not young, but the physical activity involved in my work keeps me in shape and I enjoy long walks on my lunch hours and time off. So I stay fit and my age doesn’t interfere with my work.

Writing is something I’ve always wanted to do. One day I just sat down and started. It was choppy and sounded silly at first, but I just kept on writing. The story seemed to flow out of me. Pretty soon I started noticing that when I took my walks I was planning the story I was writing. It was so much fun.

Now I’ve written three books. The people who have read them seem to like them. I certainly enjoyed writing them.

My first book Marking Time has been published and is available for sale at Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble.com and other on line sources. It is also available for order at popular book stores.

Second Half, the next book will be available in the spring of 2007. Crossed Lines, book three will be available in the summer of 2007. I’m hoping to have a package of all three put together by the holiday season of 2007. The three books are a trilogy, but not a series. Hopefully they can be read alone without missing anything.

I write about the second half of life. I’m qualified to do that because I’m living the second half of life. I write about relationships with aging parents, grown children, siblings, friends and mates. All of which I have in abundance living close by. I write about the challenges of these relationships as well as the joy and value of them. I also write about the challenges we face inside ourselves in the second half of life.
